Feb 25 2022 Energy Ball Lab Cooking Day!

Energy Ball Lab Cooking Day!  Energy Ball Review Lab Group Assignments -  Head Chef Prep Cooks x 2 Dishwasher IMPORTANT!!!!  Only 1 group member to teacher station to pick up your lab group bin - with aprons, cloths, additional product items. One member of your group to get your recipe duo tang for reference. * Head Chef. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR FOOD PROCESSOR TO SMOKE! You want your product to be moving and spinning. If you add the dates and your blade does not spin - add a touch of water.  DO NOT EAT MIX WHILE PREPPING YOUR ENERGY BALLS! Once your group has prepped your tray/plate of energy balls please bring to the back Teacher Station for labelling and transfer to the back freezers for setting At the end of the lab all group members to assist with final clean up, final sanitization of counters and sweeping of your area.  BE CAREFUL WHEN WASHING/CLEANING YOUR FOOD PROCESSOR BLADES! DO NOT DUMP IN SINK - Carefully wipe blades with cleaner brush out of the sink!...

Feb 11 2022 Rice Krispie Day!!!! & Safety Poster Presentations

Cooking Lab Day!!!  Rice Krispies! Remember:  Lab Group Assignments -  Head Chef Prep Cooks x 2 Dishwasher IMPORTANT!!!!  Only 1 group member to teacher station to pick up your lab group bin - with aprons, cloths, additional product items. One member of your group to get your recipe duo tang for reference. * Head Chef. USE above stove top FAN!!!!  Heat up butter on LOW first then slight move up to Low-Med if needed! Once your group has prepped your tray please bring to the back Teacher Station for labelling and transfer to the back fridges for setting. Leave out cutting board and bread knife. At the end of the lab all group members to assist with final clean up, final sanitization of counters and sweeping of your area.  All used aprons and dishtowels to the front laundry hamper for washing.  While we are waiting for Rice Krispies to set please prep your group Safety Poster for class presentation!

Fig, seed, oat bars, choc chips - check status of seeds with nut allergy.  Safety in the kitchen - a review - pay attention!
